  • Family Support Group

    NAMI Family Support Groups are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who have a loved one living with mental health challenges. In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family member can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one and themselves. The group is led by NAMI trained family members.

  • Connection Support Group-Suicide Prevention and Survivor Support

    NAMI Connection Support Group-Suicide Prevention and Survivor Support Group is a free, peer-led support group open to any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others. The groups are led by NAMI trained leaders who've been there.

  • NAMI Family & Friends

    Family & Friends is a free 90-minute or four-hour seminar that informs people who have loved ones with a mental health condition how to best support them. It’s also an opportunity to meet other people in similar situations and gain community support.

  • CIT - Crisis Intervention Team

    CIT strives to improve the way law enforcement and the community respond to people experiencing mental health crises.

    CIT programs typically provide 40 hours of free training for first responders on how to better respond to people experiencing a mental health crisis.

    NAMI Southeast Indiana provides support groups and educational opportunities, NAMI SE IN Update e-mail newsletters, and plans to develop new NAMI signature programs
